IanH 1 1 Cars Posted October 25, 2016 Anyone know what the clip / fixing is that holds the centre of the gti front grille on? Its the clip above the Peugeot badge. There's just a hole of randomness in my grille and a corresponding random hole in the slam panel. I have no clues.
Simes 248 2 Cars Posted October 25, 2016 I've always used a nut and bolt, once it nay gave been a captive nut.
Anthony 1,003 Posted October 25, 2016 There's never been anything in that hole on any 205 that I've owned - the grill is normally only held in place by the two outer upper bolts and the three lower plastic pegs.
IanH 1 1 Cars Posted October 25, 2016 Yep, that's what I thought. Hmm, so why the holes??
Ryan 99 Posted October 25, 2016 Maybe it was designed to have a clip and then Peugeot decided to save a penny per car by not fitting it?
Bobbafett 49 2 Cars Posted October 31, 2016 On both of my GTIs there is a self tapper through the grille into a spire nut in the centre.
