Hi, can anyone ID this part please? Anything to do with the bonnet release or mechanism or something completely different?

Looks like the throttle cable mounting from a 8v inlet manifold.

Hmm. Don't think I've used that as part of the overall throttle linkage, think mine is just the mounted heavy duty outer cable which is restrained/held directly on the throttle body spring mech - ie, my throttle cable inner just connects to the black rotating actuator. Will look into it and get it installed if required.

Think this might've come bundled in with a load of parts I got from a former 205 owner.
