Mi16 Won't Start

Sorry if this is in the wrong section I have a problem my mi16 1905 cc won't start today Was running fine yesterday. First thing I checked was fuel released both pipes from fuel rail and turned engine over no fuel from either pipe I then checked fuses all seemed fine I know there is a taco metric relay where would I fine that any other ideas how do I check relay thanks peter

mi16 doesn't use a tachymetric relay if it's on mi16 management, two standard 4 pin relays

Assuming that it's running Mi16 management, there's two relays likely behind the drivers side headlight - one is for the fuel pump, the other powers up the ECU etc.

 

Those two relays are horribly exposed on most 205 Mi16 conversions and a prime cause of non-starting issues like you're seeing. Also, check the wiring on the back of the relay holders - it's often very corroded and sometimes breaks off completely.

Hi Anthony yes just gone out pulled of both relay plugs replaced them turned it over now have fuel connected up fuel hoses turned it over started first time problem solved a big thanks to you peter
