The seller does very good gaiters so I wouldn't have any qualms about buying from him, but at that price you wouldn't want to be the first one to take the plunge, eh?! I'm not sure what it is, whether it's because it's trying to add a level of luxury as expected in an Aston Martin that, as you pointed out just doesn't work against cheap plastics or, that it just looks too kinky!
