Brake Pad Wear Sensor Cable..

Just done a brake disc and pad swop, and noticed on the drivers side, the brake wear sensor cable has either broke or been cut short the rubber part you push the new part from the pad is missing and some more cable..

 

Can a new/replacement cable be bought and added or should i just extend the broken part from the car and make a new joint..?

 

cant seem to find anything on a net search. thanks!
