Which Inline Pump To Use

Recommended Posts

K20205

Hello everyone,

I want to remove my intank pump and run a inline pump.

My question is where is the best place to mount the pump?

Inside the car? Also what type of inline pump do i need?

I heard Inline pumps are gravity fed and itll burn out if fitted above tank, fuel needs to be drawn from tank

FYI, Mi16 and BX16V in-line pumps are fed by a low pressure pre-pump in the tank. Adding an in-line pump adds no difference in the case of a 205 unless you add a surge tank.

Im going to be using it for my k20 engine,

I want to run a single pump directly,

Can the small facet low pressure pumps feed fuel out of the tank and to thegg inline pump?

I run a single in-line pump under the floor. Pump is level with the bottom of the tank. Pump is for a Citroen Visa GTI / Citroen CX GTI Turbo.

Why not use the standard pump or indeed an uprated in tank pump if it concerns you?

I use a Bosch 942 I think it is, with one-way valve, and with the standard pump and surge/swirl tank too...
