dobboy 231 2 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 Obviously you need a CD player for this but I think it looks good. http://www.cdslotmount.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=
Hheppy 9 1 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 I prefer getting away from all the technology when i'm in my Pug, just like it used to be back in the early 90's, no phones, or sat navs!
ALEX 98 1 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 Until that time you breakdown lost in the middle of nowhere. Phone boxes are as plentiful as they were in the 90's
steve@cornwall 100 Posted July 20, 2016 Shame about the position of the CD slot in a 205, unless your knees can read .
Hheppy 9 1 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 Very true and the ones that still exist don't take cash anymore either!! that's why I keep my mobile in the door pocket, for such emergencies, I find that a good enough phone holder!
toolie72 67 1 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 A mobile that was available when 205s were new would probably be the same size as the door pocket anyway!!!! Lol
2-Pugs 57 Posted July 20, 2016 I bought something similiar for my wife a few years back, as her car didn't have sat across but the CD player was suitably high up. Worked ok, a little bit flimsy mind you!
forbeslongden 32 13 Cars Posted July 20, 2016 I find the Clarion tape player is ideal for storing my iPhone SE, goes straight in the slot
jackherer 543 Posted July 21, 2016 A mobile that was available when 205s were new would probably be the same size as the door pocket anyway!!!! Lol When 205s were first released in 1983/4 a mobile phone have been far too big to fit in the door pocket but by 1993/4 when the last GTIs were sold you could get e.g. a Sony CMH333 (AKA mars bar) or a Nokia 2110 neither of which were excessively large.
