K20205 5 Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Hi, Ive got a 1.6gti 205 its got a k20 honda engine i was just about to send off the shafts to get a pair of custom ones made but now i found out that the outer cvs are all one piece. Can i use 1.9 driveshafts on 1.6gti hubs? Or what other options are there for me to use? Can other hubs from different model or makes fit the 205 and then i can use the driveshafts off that. Thanks Edited June 30, 2016 by K20205

K20205 5 Posted June 30, 2016 Just checked its different, Also a advantage is that the honda ep3 wheel bearing uses exactly the same dimensions as the 1.9hubs. Im planning to swap over the hub flange from the ep3 hopefully use ep3 inner and outer cv joints. But i dont know about the brakes and disks yet.
welshpug 1,646 Posted June 30, 2016 that's quite interesting if the Honda does use a similar bearing, they can only be so different after all, everything uses a wheel bearing!
