Fuel Pump Advice

Changed fuel pump today, could only get phase 1 pump going into ph 1.5 205 1.6 gti . Question as I don't have the original connector which wire green/yellow or brown are the choices goes into which side of the connector. Right side is closest to the hoses.

 

I've tried putting a photo up but its not works.

 

Advice much appreciated.

Anyone? green/yellow wire positive or earth to fuel pump.

Thanks, thats the same pump I took out, because I could only get a ph1 pump the connectors are different. Just not sure which of the two wires in your photo is the positive one.

on the actual pump there should be signs of a plus + and a minus - on the terminal threads

ph1 is the same as 1.5.

 

its phase 2 that has a different plug.

 

earth is green and yellow, as per any other earth.
