Removing Writing On Quarter Badges

Recommended Posts

mech205eng

I'm removing the red 1.9 sticker on my quarter badges to put 2.0 stickers on. What is the best way to do this, I've tried heat gun but they don't want to peel off, iv tried a razor blade and it seems to want to dig into the plastic before it gets under the sticker and iv tried rubbing them with thinners. I might just need to persist with one of these methods. Be handy to know how anyone else has got them off

Best bet is to get a pair of blank base model quarter badges. The badges appear etched and painted, the surface of the font slightly lower than the badge itself

Thanks, I think I'll try sanding them and then see what my trim dye brings them back up like
