Noisy Fuel Pump?

Recommended Posts

Is it normal for me too sometimes hear fuel pump running away when cars idling, other times I don't hear it-doesn't seem to affect car-maybe its the trained, paranoid 205 ear? Doesn't matter how much fuels in it, electric funeral normally drowns it out tho-showing my age lol

Maybe a sign the pump is on its way out/low pressure,

mine used to sound like this at times turned out to be low pressure and got worse when really hot as the pump was struggling

Still playing black sabbath yaaah-pump is now quiet??? I'm going to wait for weather to turn-if I hear it then when temperatures are down then it's getting changed (wife's a lot younger than me and hates my "old shi@e music" as she calls it)
