205 Gt, B Reg 1985, No Previous Owners

Found this one the other day from a local estate sale so some light recommissioning and should be at the Retro Show santa Pod

 

The previous owner bought it new from central london, A ex colonel so has a good history with it and has done a outstanding 158k and run's sweat as, she started up after standing for 2 to 3 years and drives well too.

 

As it stood when I got it back

 

 

 

Boot floor condition after 31 years

 

 

Along with the good old XY engine to keep the C of G down low

 

 

 

She has had some minor dents in the past so the main thing to start with was to tidy them up, the only wing that had been replaced before was the drivers one and once removed the condition outdoes most later cars by a long way, the inner splash guard needed replacing here.

Started cleaning the engine up

 

 

Beam next along with stone guarding the floor pan along with a good clean but that's Marc's job (MDV Detailing) and as said the first show should be Santa Pod and then onto Pugfest

In some ways yes, Pain as the oil runs out when you take it off
