What's A '97 306 D Turbo Worth?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

As per title, what's a 97 306 D turbo worth with 5 months mot in good condition albeit needing a driveshaft and a ball joint? Think it's done around 150k miles.

Phase 2 on a P, chassis legs, quarters and roof is fine, I took those handy little sound deadening sponges out of the rear quarters a long time ago..

Body wise its very good, got 5 Lasers with matching tyres, trim is tidy too.

I assume it's a Lucas pump at that age?

The honest answer is "not a lot" as 306's are pretty much worthless currently. Even a HDi is probably worth not more than £5-600 at that sort of mileage with a long MOT and the older TD's are usually less - especially if they have a Lucas pump (Bosch pump models will run veg oil and typically tune better, hence more desirable)

Fairly sure it's a lucas pump, ill have to double check that.

I appreciate they aren't fetching a lot of money, they are old cars (and tech tbh!) And with it needing a couple of bits I'm realistic as to its value, it's only coming up for sale owing to the arrival of a lease car otherwise I'd do the bits and keep it trucking on for a while longer.

It's just so reliable and good on fuel!

So come on, collective heads together, if it were yours what would you put it up for sale for?
