Finding Out What Fuel System I Have Fitted

Anyone help me with a daft question I'm wanting to know what fuel system my 1.9 205 gti is running it's a 1989 but I don't have the right air flow metre fitted and wanted to know what fuel system it has so I can buy the right air flow metre lol.cheers in advance

It'll be Jetronic at that age unless someone's messed with it - Motronic wasn't available until later and was optional until late '92 so is comparatively rare (in the UK anyway, common in other markets)

 

You should have an ECU ending 359, yellow injectors, a dizzy ending 066 and an AFM ending 109 if it's all the correct stuff for engine (which should have a "D6B" tag)

 

The full part number for the correct AFM for a Jetronic 1.9 GTi is 0280202109

Ah excellent I do have yellow injectors,ecu 359,dizzy 066 and also db6.were the 1.6 different as in dizzy and injectors

All of the bits I mentioned above are different on 1.6 GTi models - on 115hp versions it's ECU ending 340, blue injectors, dizzy ending 063/085/086 (depending on age) and AFM ending 056.
