This is position i can get the switch to close as you can see well beyond the mounting bolts is it a us switch or possibly summit wrong with the shaft on throttle body.

Only time i get the click is when i go past the mounting holes as in pics i do remember when i tried to strip the body i couldnt undo the nut that holds shaft and it just turned im wondering if shaft is 180 degrees out of position.

If you remove the air hose elbow and look into the throttle body you should be able to see the heads of the 2 screws that fix the butterfly to the spindle , if you cannot see them the spindle is 180 degrees out .Obviously its worth testing the TPS with a multimeter while its off the car .

So am i right in thinking when its bolted on to body the small movement you have on the screws i should get a open and closed signal if i rotate the small amount.

you should hear a click and lose continuity as it moves off the throttle stop screw

then as it hits W.O.T you should gave continuity on the other pin from the centre.

Just looking at the wiring diagram it shows 3 wires to tps i can only see 2 pins in connector im guessing one has pushed in how hard is it to remove rubber boot?.

Easy. Just peel it back, though I am sure you will be putting a new one one as they are not that much.

I think it is this as I bought one but can't find the link for exactly what I picked up:
