Fuse Box Identification

Please can anyone tell me what the small fuse box is for at the front rhs (when face on) of the engine bay in 205 1.6 auto (XU5M)? Note: its a LHD.

In the box there are 8 spaces marked 1-6 and two are marked R. Currently the fuses in mine are 2x25 in spaces 3&4, and a 10 in space 6.

Am trying to locate where the fuse is for my non working radiator cooling fan.

Thanks in advance

If you mean the small black box with the fuses in it's called the shunt box, basically it's the main power distribution box with wires plugged in underneath it going to the fuse box, ecu & cooling fans.

They don't usually have fuses in every slot iirc but I can't remember what is in there, although the 2 x 25 amp sounds right.

Your cooling fans should have a separate five slot brown plug spare near the shunt box which you can test them from by bridging from the centre pin to the each side for either low or high speed fans depending on which side you go to.

Still on the topic of fuses... in the interior fuse box I have an unidentified two spade pin red connector - not connected to anything - sitting next to the four relays behind the fuses... any ideas?

Would post a photo but haven't a scooby how to

Thanks!
