My car has had a previous repair to front section of the chassis leg but although the repair looks good it wasn't resealed very well afterwards so has subsequently started to rust around the area. The o/s engine mount holder was removed to do the initial repair and in order to get to all the rusted areas I'm going to have to remove it again. Before I remove it I'm after some advice on any steps to take which will help when it comes to putting it back on in the correct position. Will it just naturally sit where it needs to be once it locates in the recess at the back? should I take some measurements from various points to realign it? or something else?
