Recommended Oem+ Spec Front Discs And Pads 1.6

Hi all,

 

My 1.6 GTI is in need of front discs and pads the old have warped.

 

Previously I had the MTEC grooved discs and EBC greenstuff pads.

 

Was a nice set up but curious to what others recommend. The car does micro mileage approx 1,000 a year. With a possibility of 1 or two track days a year.

 

I'm running good ridge braided lines and fresh ATE super blue fluid.

Standard Brembos discs and mintex m1144s would be my choice, cheap enough and perform well when required
