205 1.6 Cti - Injectors, Afm, Computer

Hi everyone,

 

I ve changed AFM to my 205 1.6 cti with 1.9 gti. Now I bought computer from the same 1.9 gti, and injectors because someone told me do don t mix part from 1.9 and 1.6.

My quetion is if I put 1.9 injectors & computer to my 1.6 will I have anyproblems ? Do I need to change something else ? Has anyone done that before ?

why did you do that? its not a 1.9?

It is not 1.9 gti. But when i changed 1.9 AFM with mine, erratic idle stop , and it idle ok. Someone sugested me that I should change ECU , and injectors because I put 1.9 AFM ?

Seems obvious why no one has done what your suggesting, (probably why you've had limited responses). But 1.9 engine is a bigger capacity than a 1.6. so the 1.9 fuelling system in a 1.6 will more than likely not run as intended.

Are you having trouble getting hold of parts or something?
