Any Recommendations For Cheap Exhaust

Recommended Posts

I have a two piece system and need a new front section. It only needs to last a year or so as long term I plan to fit a stainless system.

If it's only got to last a year then a serviceable good quality 2nd hand one seems the way to go.

If you want new then something like a Klaurias (sp?) is cheap at around £50 for the front part, but the quality is pretty poor and they rust out very quickly compared to a better quality system like Bosal - which unfortunately are nearly twice the price. You'll get a year easily enough, but I wouldn't expect more than a couple of years if you use the car all year round through all weather - a Klaurias backbox I had a few years back was showing significant amounts of surface rust after one winter and I hadn't used the car much!

I got a complete exhaust of eBay about 18 months ago-cost less than £100 to the door

2 Scottish winters later (highlands and it's my daily driver) might last another but hey for the money I can't complain

Cheaper than the TWO fines I got from my sportex (108 decibels)-always was a slow learner lol

I just bought a one piece system of ebay for 65 quid, it's alright but I wouldn't rate it for quality so I think I'm gonna paint mine. Also it doesn't have the slot 3985CECF-48E0-43BD-ACDD-4AB4509AAC51.jpg
