Coolant Level

This is such a stupid question but I have searched on here via google and cannot find an answer. Don't hate me..... How did I check the coolant level on a 1.9 GTI - I am stumped.

Take lid off expansion tank when engines cold-look inside for water!! (no s*it-there mightened be any lol)

Should see a vertical slot in plastic inside-as long as coolants up to the bottom of the slot-your sorted

Cheers for that, can't see any water, that's why I'm worried! I'll check in the morning, just couldn't see any water!
