Clutch Cable Mod 205 - Gti6

Hi all,

 

Tried the search function to no avail..

 

Must be having a blond moment - I am in the finishing stages of a bare shell conversion to LHD. It's been in the barn for 5 years and I've,only just had time to get it running but can't remember how I made the clutch cable work - I made something years ago that sorted it and surely ordered the same parts for LHD - I have a GTi-6 engine and 'box in a 205 with a standard 1.9 clutch cable - has anyone got some images to share I want this to look as original as possible?

To confirm you are using a 306 box with complete 306 clutch setup?

 

I know people have "modified" the cables to work on that setup, but never seen a photo.

Hi, yes that's correct.

 

I made one before for the RHD setup out of tube but it never looked right, if you know what I mean and now I can't even find it. Seem to have enough bits to make several more GTi's
