I'm looking for a full car cover for the 205, obviously I want it to be breathable but doesn't have to be water proof as I'm parked semi undercover just trying to protect against bird poo mainly after the fiasco I had finding it had dissolved paint right down to the metal does anyone have one? how have you found it and price details please.

I bought a car cover for my 205, if you Google storm force, I think I paid about £150, it's breathable indoor and outdoor use, I think good quality, had it 6months no probs and good fit. I would recommend and certainly buy another one. Can get them from many online outlets they do vary in price.

I have a halfords tyvek one, it was fifty quidish, 5 yrs ago its on my low miles minter thats filed away until my girlfriend needs a new car.

Fits well and has survived a few gales.

My friend has the same type ,next size up on his FTO and he says its good, as well.

Looks like quite a good place at least they are tailored for our cars..... does your's protect against bird droppings? I see on the most expensive one its listed as doing this but not on the cheaper ones.

I was looking at the Voyager £59 only water resistant but doesn't need to be waterproof so I will see what they say

I have had bird s*it, heavy rain and winds and still going strong. Only two things I would add, my aerial base has worn a hole but that's my fault, on the cti you can't angle it flat because of roof, on a gti this would not be issue. I wish mine was 10cm longer at the front to cover the very lowest front of the car, well it does until it gets windy. I can send pic if you give me email address.

I bought one from specialised covers and it is worth every penny. Survived everything from bird poo, gales, paint and next doors cat.

Also, its tailored and fits all over the car.

I've got the Hamilton Classics one. It wasn't cheap but it's very good.
