Another Oil Leak Problem

Got a massive oil leak which seems to be coming from the camshaft/cam belt area. I stripped the cam belt hoping it was cam seal but that looks dry and the leak seems to be lower. Looking at the end of the head below the cam there look like a pair of core plugs. It looks like one of these is the source but I can't see anything on line that confirms these are oil rather than water?

 

Assuming it's not these and it's not cam seal I'm stuck for ideas-open to suggestions please

Core plugs are normally water only to cope with expansion if the head / block freezes.

 

It may still be the cam seal but the oil will travel a bit as the cam rotates.
