I may be wrong but it look like the wire for the choke light.

Choke wire is normally yellow, but its certainly on the right place. Wire number should give it away if its still readable.

Could be earth to steering column.

There's a double connector same as the earth connector for the headlights fixed to the steering column. It could go to that?

All earths are M numbered and usually green and/or yellow however wire number 75 does indeed show up on the wiring diagrams as choke switch. Connect it to earth and the choke light will glow if there's a bulb in it.

Courtesy light switch....at least that's where my loose green wire goes in that area! Can't find a wire number on mine (only the French can be illogical enough to colour-code the wiring, then rely on tiny, occasional, or completely absent, numbers printed on, for identification!). Disconnected on mine whilst I sort out a courtesy light switch that is less mickey mouse than the original.

it is located behind left headlight ? And i have one more problem. Sometimes when I shift gears or stop, my rpm stays on 1300-1500, and if I just touch throtle and release , rpm goes down, normal ? what it could be ? I ve cleaned throttle body, cleaned SAD, checked for vacuum leaks, cleaned injectors , checke AFm... All filters are new ... ? Does anyone had similar experience ? Thanks

Almost certainly an air leak that, have you checked the bolt on the inlet manifold could be worn throttle housing

Could also be sticking, kinked or trapped throttle cable.

So...did our replies help you sort out what the green wire is for?
