Fine Filter On Fuel Pump

the fine filter that sits with the fuel pump, how does this come off? do you twist? or just pull?

 

mine just turns when trying to rotate

Just pull it

its ok i just got 2 flat blade screwdrivers and just gently got the filter off by just wedging the screwdrivers in the little gap and turned them and it came off.

 

got a new fuel pump(bosch) arriving tommoz, do they come with new clips? or can i reuse the original ones?
