What Oil To Run In New Engine

can anyone recommend a oil to run my rebuilt engine in as it wont be in long before its dropped and changed.

I used semi synthetic for running in and used fully synthetic since then

I used mineral oil, and changed oil and filter at 100 and 500 miles, which I think was in response to advice on here ?????

Mineral oil for the first few changes then onto decent quality synth.
