Peugeot 205 1.6 Cti - Fuel Pump ?

Can bad fuel pump cause hot start problem ??? I have no other symptoms ???

Do a pressure test on the pump

 

Should be giving about 3.5 bar if I remember correctly

It's 3 bar less manifold vacuum for a standard 8v FPR.

i have this problem too, seems to take an absolute age to start when hot,ok from cold thou,whats the recommended pump for these?

I tried one off ebay but it was worse than the one I was replacing so bought a brand new Bosch, not cheap but fit and forget,

 

There are other makes that will fit I believe

Where did you buy your pump from? Coz Peugeot want £400 plus

Are you sure the internal hose isn't leaking?
