Mc Racing For Lightweight Panels

Recommended Posts

JeffR

I've been looking at MC Racing's website in France (http://www.mcracingsa.com/) as they do lightweight panels, maxi kits, etc for many makes including Pugs.

Has anyone purchased from them? Whats the quality & fit like? Prices seem reasonable.

Thanks

I had a fibreglass standard bonnet about a year ago. I am happy with fit and finish. As to any other panels, i can't say. Interestingly the bonnets, when i checked at the time, seem to be the same ones Ecosse sell, going by the pictures anyway

Hi guys I am a authorised UK agent for MC Racing, let me know if you want anything as I will match or slightly better prices if you order direct. (You need to account for real life exchange rates, postage, their 4% credit charge, and bank charges for currency conversion.)

Best Regards, Tony

That would have been good to know 5 months ago , I asked them if they came to the UK or had an outlet here - maybe I was not understood . I had a few problems ordering a 309 turbo cup front bumper from MC Racing - my fault as my French is terrible . We eventually understood each other and it was posted to me from Meynes , France .I was worried such a large item would not survive the journey but it was well packaged and got here OK - cheap P+P considering the distance .Will require some finishing to get it ready for paint , as with any GRP part I am sure .

I also ordered a set of DTM type mirrors ( parts as on my forum pic ) the fit on these is terrible and I have spent hours cutting them about to make them fit .

A UK contact would be useful for anyone wanting to buy .

ps , the front bumper has a recess for an indicator lens , I would like to fit a pair as dummies to fill the hole but have been unable to find what model they are from - any ideas ?

All the panels on my Visa came from MC Racing - front & rear wings, skirts, bumpers, bonnet, tailgate plus the polycarb windows. No complaints whatsoever.

Useful to know there's a UK agent too for when the inevitable happens - it is a competition car after all.
