Recommended Posts

Reebmit

Wasn't going to say before as I didnt know if anyone on here was going to bid but DVLA has just sold '205 PUG' number plate, £3900 so including all the additional costs, £5000.... I sooooo wanted that number.... but didn't even bother as it was always gonna make good money, would look great on a 205.....

Anyone on here get it?

The majority of people on this forum are far too tight to have bought that - most would baulk at paying £5000 for a 205 let alone just for a numberplate... :P

Nothing wrong with a PUG plate. Says me with E11 PUG on a VW Passat!

The plates I don't like are where people make a naff attempt at adulteration using hooky spacing, fonts or numerous black screw heads..

If you're on PistonHeads have a look at the crappy plates thread on there - loads of absolute corkers with people trying, and generally failing badly, to make their plate read something that it isn't.

Were you in Edinburgh on the 6th of this month? Sure I saw you and commented to the Mrs the plate must have been swapped from a PUG

That's because it's a 205 and a rocket (RPG) haha
