Reece 0 1 Cars Posted February 21, 2016 Hi, I have a 1986 1.4 Limited Edition Lacoste 205 and I am led to believe that it is the last running one on the road, it has 5 owners and has 86k miles. Would like to know a round about price what it would be worth. Any input/info would be great ! Thanks

Reece 0 1 Cars Posted February 21, 2016 I had bought it from a friend not so long ago, the one on eBay must have only been put up recently as it was not on there when I looked last ! On the description of the one on eBay it says that there were 2 registered for road use last year, which isn't true as mine was on the road, yours, and the one that is advertised. If the price I right I am looking to sell it but it's hard as I don't know what it is worth ! Have you ever had any interest on yours Stee?
allye 530 3 Cars Posted February 21, 2016 Unfortunately the rare factor doesn't do much for value, there are so many silly special edition 205's and other French cars! Phase 1's and base models also don't tend to fetch top money being a 86 must be a XY engine? Also unfortunately not desirable. Having said that it's incredibly tidy and clean with low miles, stick on auction and see what happens! That will tell you how much it's worth.
Reece 0 1 Cars Posted February 21, 2016 Would you say just stick it on eBay and hope for the best or is there somewhere else like car and classics that people go to look for older cars ?

farmer 328 1 Cars Posted February 21, 2016 The one on EBay was sold by a chap called Graham A lot of parts were hard to come by on them on the OEM side, even spark plugs etc were discontinued As Ali said unfortunately they are just a glorified base model with the weaker engine I do like them though
ALEX 98 1 Cars Posted February 22, 2016 Its hard to value, you could ask for loads and you might get it but you might be waiting a while. question is really how soon you want to get rid. sub £2k mark should move it within a few weeks above that, you'd probably have to wait for the right buyer. nveeate 78 Posted February 24, 2016 Where would you say the right place is to advertise it ? I reckon your best chance of advertising it is to join a forum to ask about its value. (and then try eBay)
