306 Gti6 Cam Pulleys

Hi to everyone ????????

 

Just a quick question I have looked through the forum and can't find the information I need!!

 

As I looked through I found that the phase 1 cam pulleys have a big issue of breaking and cracking??? I am going to change mind to I guess the phase 2 version do they just fit the same and is all the timing holes all in the same places???

all the same dimensions yes.

 

dont forget the j4r inlet cam hub is the same, the pulley itself is the same on the exhaust as well, just not the hub.

So do I need a set of cams aswell???

cams are the same all the way through production.

Sorry pal miss read can I ask you are the phase 2 pulleys the ones with the three 10mm headed bolts in the middle of are they the phase 1????

Just had a look I have a j4r can I fit a set of Kent cams off a j4rs and get a sets of phase 2 pulleys???

later cams have a single bolt.

Thought so I am just trying to get as much info as I can as its all stripped now new Pistons, valves etc!!! Going to put a set of j4rs Kent cams in with the phase 2 single bolt pulleys will this be ok!!!
