Valve Shimming

after someone thats fairly local to me that can do valve shims on my 1.6, the reason i ask is that it easier for me, if someone does these all the time and have the shims in stock rather than me doing it,having to order shims etc etc

 

just waiting for my injectors to come back from injector tune so maybe in the week or maybe next.

 

Any recommendations?

 

these are a bit tappety so would like to sort this in the next few weeks

I got all mine from Peugeot as they have a huge range of the different sizes you could allways find some local engine builders that may keep something similar in stock.

The guy in my preferred little local garage is ex Peugeot and he had a massive stash of shims. He did them for free when the car was in a year or so ago.

Just ask around, you might get lucky with someone who knows someone...

same as an xud, so most general engine/cylinder head places will have them
