Gti6 Vs 406 Brakes

I've got 2 good sets of 406 brakes.. I'm wondering is the caliper the same as the gti6? Can I just change the 406 carrier to a gti6 carrier for use on a 205/306/106?

the pad is the same, piston on most also, but never actually tried them on a 306 carrier.

Nope, 406 brakes fit on 405's.

You've missed the point Peter, a gti6 uses a lucas caliper with a 57mm piston, as does a 406, calvin us asking if they will interchange on the carrier, given they are the same pad shape.
