Dukey 1 Posted February 17, 2016 Arrrgggghhh. I've pretty much had it with the thing, it's a leaky sieve. Boot leaks, doors leak and the rear windows leak massively, it's pooling inside the panel. I've already had them cut and welded once where it rusted through. I've tried splicing in 2" of extra seal - it's better but it's still dire. Can i fit fixed ones? At this point I'm close to either scrapping it out of frustration or running a ridiculous bead of tiger seal round every orifice. On top of this it looks like the heater matrix has gone, taking out the radio - i noticed because i could hear the rear speakers crackling with the ignition off! This pug just wants to kill itself in a miserable, slow watery death. /rant Sorry I'm half venting hear bloody weather.
Dukey 1 Posted February 17, 2016 Edit, to be clear, it's my gti thats got the slightly openable rear windows - which are nifty but I'm willing to get rid for some sanity.

Dukey 1 Posted February 18, 2016 Cheers Tom, I'll see how I go! And wes, at this point I'd be willing to weld in some sheet steel if it stopped the leaks
