Clarion Volume Knob Removal?

Hi,

 

i got clarion pu-9317 radio and i want to remove the front cover.

but because the volume knob has a tang on it , the front cover cannot be removed.

 

 

how can i remove it without damaging the knob or the radio?

Hi Ido,

 

The tang pulls off as well. Be careful to pull it evenly. I found a couple of table knives (not sharp) placed each side and rotated does the trick.
