Brakes And Beam Question

Hi Chaps, couple of questions for you, i have got a base model 205, if when i strip the beam down it is ok or rebuildable can i fit 1.6 gti drums onto the existing hubs ? will a gti rear arb fit? and will gti torsion bars fit into the beam ? the car will be running a 1.9 xu, gp A/N suspension, and hopefully used for some tarmac rallys, will this brake set up give me enough stopping power on the rear, if not what would you recommend

gti drums will fit, you'll want much stiffer bars than gti ones for tarmac rally, arb also.

21/22mm torsion bars and then apend the rest of your budget on rear dampers
