As I'm sure some have seen on Facebook 205 page Rob K contacted me regarding a bumper I was selling. Turned out it was off a 205 1FM. I had aquired it and wings etc along with a bare shell I had bought, we checked the vin and hey Presto, that's it. It was assumed scraped, but is here and stripped to the bare bones. I have found out the full story behind it to!

I'd love to find the chassis plate and the original plaques etc but probably never happen!

No I wouldn't sell it at the minute. Plus there is a long list of people looking it. I want to see what I can get for it. If it's going to be Impossible then that changes things lol

I don't see it as being impossible to get back together, i'm sure other 1FM owners would help, an engraver for the badge, sticker man on here to do graphics, floor mats would be the tricky bit but not impossible.

Yeah your right it's probably not impossible really. Would be nice to get it on the road in any sort of condition

What a shame that the 205 had to be associated with that awful radio station...

I think there is some old pictures/thread some where about, got a feeling it was dipped to strip all the paint off a long time ago and then it went all quiet.

Great find. Restore it. With the links the exclusive 1fm guys will have, I am sure you will be able to get it up to reasonable condition very quickly.

Thank you, it is the bare minimum though, a shell, 2 wings rear bumper & valance and 2 door cards are all that remain with it!

It would be good if you could find a horribly rusted late model car then transplant everything over. Obviously easier said then done

I'd bet you might even be able to get a few donated parts for such a worthy cause

Is it worth getting the history of the car from the dvla, think its form v888 or something like that.

I got it for my gti and it gave the details of every previous owner. Could try and locate them on the off chance a few parts are stuck in a shed somewhere.

Gotta be worth a fiver tou semd off with the form?
