Can Anyone Help Me Idenifity These Plugs?

I have been trying to use the attach files but the page crashes

 

Hi ive bought a 205 1.9 cti the car is currently not running and has no spark,I have diagnosed the pump as been faulty which has been ordered

But also ive found two wires today which i have taken a pictures of hopefully someone can help me.

The small black plug is located at the drivers side wing and the brown plug with a white lead is connected to the top of the gear box ive had

a look today i cant find find anywhere to connect them.

Both links are to the same image.

 

The one in the image is used by the Peugeot diagnostic tools of the era and isn't normally connected. Indeed, it's effectively useless these days and I usually remove it.

 

The fuel pump relay and fuel injection are triggered by spark on Jetronic models. Pickup is on the dizzy, which triggers the ignition amplifier, which in turn fires the coil.

That brown plug does nothing-cut mine off after it melted on manifold doh!!

Is small black cable from side of distributor cOnnected to amplifier at coil

Looking at my cti I would tend to agree with lukespeed, I have one of those attached to both sides.

Its definitely not the top strut earths as they are both connected, the cable is only about 1 and half foot long.

If you follow the wire in the picture it exits out of the corrigated black tubing.

Brake pad wear warning light wire.

Test it by connecting it to earth (Might need cleaning up looking at that though)

Often disconnected ...... because its French, never actually see a 205 with these connected.

Makes me wonder if they even connected them when new.
