I've used Febi beam mounts and they've been absolutely fine.

 

Febi 21819 - Front beam mounts (the 4 little cups that are on the tube)

Febi 18751 - Rear sandwich mounts

Thanks for the part numbers Allan.Just ordered 4 febi front beam mounts from Micks Garage .co.uk for £14.35 delivered thats cheaper than ebay.

Sorry to bump an old thread, can anyone tell me if you need 2 of these per side as the picture just shows one half. Also my car is an XS, the peugeot catalogue gives the other size beam mount from the gt and gti, unless anyone knows better I will usume its right.

Yes, 2 per side.

 

Not overly impressed with febi. Very tight to fit to crosstube, and can imagine to be a right pita if they have to be removed when they get tired.

 

But as genuine aren't available (only in my axles) the febis will have to do

not found febi any tighter than o.e, my method of removal is very quick easy and pretty much free of mess. could be tight as you like they will come out no bother
