12V Shunt Box?

Just finishing off the gti6 conversion on my 205.

 

Have a plug left over labelled 12v shunt box, the loom I believe was originally from a xsara vts of that makes any difference?

 

What is the 12v shunt box and where is it located? (Pic would be great) just wondering if it's something I've inadvertently removed and binned!

Its the small black box that's usually just in front of the battery - follow the positive battery cable if you get stuck... the thicker will go to the starter/alternator, the thinner will go to the shunt box.
