Oil Pressure Not Reading Right?

I've fitted the thread converter and the 205 oil pressure switch on the end of it with the spade connector and connected the wire.

 

When engine is running the 'STOP' light is on but very dim, and flutters slightly when revving.

I'm not sure I've got the correct wire attached to the switch now?

Ignition on engine off. Remove wire from the spade earth it to something metal attached to the block. If the oil pressure gauge goes full scale it's the correct wire.

Solved, had gauge and light wrong way round
