Bearing Separators / Splitters For Presses - Where To Buy..?

Recommended Posts

barneys66

As hopefully going to be changing the gears in my BE1, and also changing the CWP in my truck, it's time to buy some separators.

Most of the 'kits' I've seen, other than the super-expensive pro kits, are mechanical versions with winders, etc, but as I have a hydraulic press I just need the separators themselves.

Ideally I'd like a 3/4/5 piece kit of various sizes - any suggestions, or am I just better off buying them individually. If so, can someone suggest the best range for working on a BE1..?

Cheers

unless the press is wide enough youll need to use a puller anyway.

I use a clarke puller, does bearings and pulleys.

You only need a puller for the Diff bearings, all the others come off without any hassle at all
