Vacuum Cut Off Switch?

Recommended Posts

johnnyboy666

Hello,

Apologies for the non-pug related question, but you're a knowledgeable lot so I thought it worth an ask.

I'm looking for for something (switch/sensor/solenoid?) that can sense vacuum pressure, and cut power once a certain pressure is reached, then reconnect power when the pressure drops again.

Ideally it would have some way of attaching to a vacuum hose to do the sensing, and then have terminals to wire up to a relay for the switching.

Being able to adjust the point at which it engages and disengages would be an advantage.

Sorry for the slightly wooly description, but I don't know the name of the thing I'm looking for, or if it even exists!

Thanks in advance

John

That is exactly the thing I was thinking of! Do you happen to know if there's any UK based places that sell that sort of thing?

You could try Real Steel, WASP, etc, but it may be cheaper to source one direct..
