Wiring Connections Help Please

Recommended Posts

Juttie205

I have started to run wiring through my car and have found homes for all connections except of 3 which are in the pictures below the 2 brown ones come from the headlight loom. The only looms that i have not run is the door loom as ive seen to have misplaced them and the stereo.

Bottom one looks like stereo. Do you have a sensor loom plugged in? Other two look like sensor loom and fuel pump, tacho etc but could be wrong.

The red one is stereo. The brown ones look like the ones that feed over to the drivers side.

I'm in a right state with my electrics so follow my advice at your peril.

Some poverty spec models might have only had front speakers, but certainly GTi's and other higher spec models had fronts and rears from the factory.

Rear speaker wiring will be part of the rear loom that has the rear light, fuel tank etc connections on it. From memory there is a red 4 pin plug on the front stereo loom that provides the connection for the rear speaker wiring.
