Fuel Line Advice

Recommended Posts

Telf

Hey all,

Post my engine fun of the last few weeks i have had the car on the road for a fortnight. I have had a quick look to make sure nothing has come loose and noticed the return hose from the fuel regulator has perished. The outer casing has 'torn' about 1/2 an inch.

Its not leaking but i don't intend to allow it to start. Anyway does anybody know if any flexible fuel hosing is ok to fit or is there a specific hose for the GTI?

Thanks

P

Mei,

My feed to the rail is flexible hose as is the return. They both connect at the bottom of the forward bulkhead into metal pipes. So any fuel hose should do fine?

the plastic hard line is rubber covered and quite flexible, just not as flexible as double wall cloth braided rubber hose.
