Wipers Relay Fix Tip

Hi

I'm one of those who normally ask questions and use the help of this forum , now I have the chance maybe to give something small back :

I know a bit about electronics and today decided to fix the wipers relay .

 

The wipers on the first position didn't work and I figured it's the relay cause when I touched it they simultaneously worked.

 

First thing is to remove cover

Noticed the cold and cracked joints

Using new solder and a solder gun , just need to "reflow" the joints so they melt and hold back together .

Make sure you don't "overflow" the joints .

 

That's it I think. Maybe something to try before you decide to toss the relays away.

(Works the same for all electronic pcb's)
