205 2.0 Turbo Conversion

Recommended Posts

Hi chaps I've done a few of these before in the past. I recently dusted the one I started 5 years ago off and decided to complete it a few weeks ago. The ecu I had I thought was unlocked but doe sent seem to turn on the double relay. I bought one from Spoox but with the same issue.

If I energise the coil it does put my fuel pump on etc .. Is there anyone close to Bradford to help??

Thanks

I had exactly the same problem with mine, I unlocked my Ecu by disconnecting the keypad immobiliser while the donor car was running, it was fine for the few weeks I used the car but by the time I finished the conversion it re armed itself again, I sent the ECU away to be unlocked properly and it was spot on.

Just noticed you'd bought another Ecu,if you have a look at this http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=146346&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 it may help, if you can get it running by earthing the ECU it has to be that.

Hi thanks for the reply and the link to an old thread. All my wiring is how it should be.

If I earth out pin 10 on the relay should this then enable the engine to run or will the ecu be locked internally?

Thanks

It should run, that was the only way I could get mine to run until I got the Ecu unlocked.

Cheers I'll give it a go to and let you know.

I've done a few before in the past plus I use to be a panel wirer so I'm sure my work is correct. I just would like confirmation!!

Thanks
