Engine Rebuild

Going to start working on the 1.9 pug again over the winter. I've completed the rear end beam refurb, brake lines etc. Going to turn the car around and start on the front. The engine, although only on 61,000, needs a rebuild as its spewing out a little white smoke when warm. At the same time I'd like power lifted a touch. My question is, who can I trust to do this and what do you think would need doing to gain a solid 130/140/150 bhp?

I've had a cooper s in the past and enjoyed the supercharger. Is this an option?
