Mi16 Oil Starvation...does It Still Exist?

Recommended Posts

Bally

Been away for really long. Was a real Peugeot head but have been sidetracked on Hondas and Eva's for last 5 years or more.

Pushed my old girl outta storage and gave her a wash. And think it's time to put her back on the road. I want to restore her back to the era. So took off all the turbo stuff and gonna just go with the following spec

Mi16

Throttle bodies

4-2-1 extractor

And either use the Peugeot sport close ratio 5 speed I have or the Peugeot sport close ratio 6 speed.

What is new in the world of Peugeot?

Pic of car pushed out and washed after more than 5 years

Tyres like the AO50 have made it worse than ever.

Welcome back! Please put a pic of your engine bay up. I seem to remember it was clean!

Last going down it was turbocharged. And the rally car was k20. Since then I have owned a high powered Evo. So my plan is to put the pug back to na.

Why back to NA?? Once you're used to the power, going back NA will be disappointing imho...

No longer interested in power in that. Just want a fun Sunday car. I have a 10 sec Evo iv for power.

I still think it's hard to beat a well balanced, properly geared, N/A 16V. Take some ideas from this and watch the video at the bottom of the page.

Indeed it's hard to beat a well balanced 16v on bodies in terms of sound and fun. I don't argue that..

In terms of power it's hard to beat a 16v turbo, but having a 10 sec Evo, it always will remain on the second place, so get the point... (thought you had sold the evo)

I would not be surprised if the Satchell 205 was not far off a 10...
